IsatPhone Pro provides up to 8 hours talk time and as much as 100 hours on standby. The mobile phone has locked an IP54 rating and is dust, water and shock resistant. It is also capable of operating from -20 degrees C to +55 degrees C, which may be the widest temperature range of any satellite telephone.
Targeted primarily at professional customers in the government, media, aid, oil and gas, mining and construction sectors, IsatPhone Professional offers high-quality satellite television telephony, text and email messaging. Location information can also be viewed and sent inside a text message.
The unique design of IsatPhone Pro, such as a fully-manoeuvrable antenna, allows the handset to become placed on its side for easy hands-free use via Bluetooth. IsatPhone Professional has an intuitive GSM-style interface with a high-visibility colour screen, along with a larger keypad for easy dialling in gloves.
